And here is the playing schedule.

Given that Bingham is playing 10am Saturday, I assume that the match numbers relate to those going down the draw in format (so match 2 is Maguire v McManus, match 12 is O'Sullivan v Gilbert)

Maltese referee Terry Camilleri has arrived for the second round (not quite sure why they need an extra ref unless some of the newer ones are Round 1 only)

The 18th frame of the Perry/Wilson match was fantastic, cant believe Perry went for that free ball black but got away with it. Well, for that frame at least!

Yeah, don't know how long it lasted, but it was engrossing! Yeah I agree with you with the freeball black - thought the blue would have given a decent angle to get to the pink as well in to the corner.

Roll on Round 2, and beyond!

They seem to be having significant problems on the right hand table as we look on TV (Table 1 I think) with big bounces off cushions, kicks galore, etc.

Was watching the McManus/Carter match earlier and the table was playing awful.

Quarter Finals

Alan McManus v John Higgins (Marcel Eckardt)
Ding Junhui v Mark Williams (Terry Camilleri)

Marco Fu v Barry Hawkins (Jan Verhaas)
Kyren Wilson v Mark Selby (Colin Humphries)

Think that will leave Brendan Moore and Olivier Marteel for the semis. Paul Collier has the final.
