A true indication as to how countries rank.....USA 23rd, China 38th.
So considering how they have far larger groups of athletes at home to compete against and hone their skills, they don't stack up as good as they should.

Baseball is a cool game to sit down and watch. But as an Olympic sport? Why not hang the gold medal around the Americans neck now. I suppose we could say the same about Basketball, and the rest of world have caught up to them in the past, but takes an inhuman effort to beat them. Althou earning what they do, a gold medal at the Olympics probably means nothing to them.
Are you a genuine moron, dog?

No, no I didn't. Your point is that they'd win it every year and only had to turn up. I pointed out that they won only 1 in 5 attempts.

As I said, you're a moron.

Yeah just thought I remembered something that would confirm what you said about the USA being poor at the game.

Thankyou for that high praise indeed, but, I surely cannot compete with The One & Lonely, he is a legend on this forum. Regrettably Lonely is banned from this forum for another 9 months!

Dave76 has obvioulsy not been to a baseball match in America yet.......Go to one, the atmosphere and entertainment in the crowd is 1000% better than England premier league yawnball.

Are you not sick of being completely wrong yet?

Not only do I love the sport I've been to watch it live on both my trips so the USA.
The Yanks in the bar I used on the second visit found it highly amusing that a Brit knew a lot about baseball and would discuss it with them. Going in in a "Crash Davis" replica shirt also helped.

Dave reconfirming I was right there stating USA as the worlds best Baseball nation with his regular visits to USA to watch the game.
Thanks for that Daveo

You need to leave here. I've already demonstrated that Cuba is the most successful Olympic team.

America has the biggest "ball clubs" but those teams are full of international players, particularly from Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Canada and Puerto Rico. Not to mention Japan, South Korea and Mexico.

Daveo confirming America also has the biggest Baseball clubs and do not mention Japan, Korea or Mexico, as he is a Trump supporter obviously.
