Funnily, Nigel Benn's other son Harley, who is trying to cash in on his dad's name and had so far won all 6 of his fights against such poor opponents their combined records are 16 wins, 123 losses and 5 draws, has just been beaten on the undercard by his 7th opponent who had lost all 16 of his paid for fights so far. It is a very poor card of fights, only worth tuning in for the Joyce KO.

Will be watching the Wilder-Breazeale fight later mainly in hope of a shock though Breazeale looked quite poor in his last and should be stopped. Don't know how many darts players there are with the same name but there are 3 Gary Russells on the Wilder undercard..
Looking forward to the fight tomorrow but far to late for me so will Sky+ and watch later tomorrow morning before going to work at 10am. Would be a huge shock if anything other than a knock out for Wilder.

Will be switching between the Josh Taylor fight on Sky and Saunders on BT Sport tonight.

Have been to the Hydro for the darts on numerous occasions, so pretty sure the atmosphere for Josh will be absolutely, utely electric.

Saunders is fighting a nobody for nothing, soon as Joyce finishes it's the Taylor/Inoue fights which are both quality and I would not be surprised if there is an upset in those two

Inoue was immense. Have to say tonight will tell us if Taylor is going to be the next Scottish superstar, but the fighter from Belarus looks an absolute beast.

After 5 rounds Taylor definitely behind. Too many shots missing, but Josh's body shots are hurting Barynchak.

Edit- 6th Round completely changed the dynamic of the fight. Josh can win this by stoppage over the next couple of rounds.

Thought it was a lot closer fight than the judges scored it.

Clearly judging by his interview, Josh disagrees with my view and comes across as a very confident individual.

Roll on his final in the Super Series.

Agree with that, the russian's punches were not as powerful but they were scoring punches and after the fifth thought Taylor could be in bother but he has a solid chin, stamina and can throw punches from anywhere, he's good enough to win many world title fights but Loma next would be too much

All 3 Gary Russells won, and Wilder showed he can be hurt but I don't think AJ really wants to go anywhere near him, nor Fury again, he is so fast he will hit them and they will fall, they will avoid each other as they each have lucrative contracts so the contenders will all get a chance to earn good money

AJ in a fortnight against the Mexican butterbean

AJ has said he won't keep us up late tonight and if he doesn't put the Mexican billy bunter away quickly his entrance to America will be a failure and eddie doesn't want that. Bfair sportsbook are offering 4/6 for AJ in rounds 1-6 which looks more than fair and for a bit better than evens just add Callum Smith to win inside the distance as he is fighting a old middleweight who falls over more than gazza on the way back from the pub.

Decent undercard tonight despite the cancellation of the Josh Taylor vs Ray Robinson fight.

Looking forward to the Buatsi vs Periban match up, and Coyle vs Algieri could be a decent fight.

Expect an easy win for Callum Smith, before AJ despatches Ruiz in the early rounds. Think this will be the first time I have stayed up to watch a live event from America since Pacquiao/ Mayweather 4 years ago. What a waste of time that was.

Remember in my earlier years staying up to listen to the Jim Watt fights on the radio, and also Hagler vs Hearns, before the advent of Sky, when I started watching every live event. Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Naz, Calzaghe and Leonard fights all bring back great memories for me.

Coyle vs Algieri one hell of a scrap. One big punch could swing this fight either way.

Thought Buatsi looked good, but have to say was really disappointed in Periban.

Typical example of a washed up fighter being a lamb to the slaughter against a hard hitting prospect.

Watching the DAZN coverage tonight, and according to their card, Josh Kelly is fighting Ray Robinson next tonight.

Pleasant surprise if accurate, as was under the impression that Josh had pulled out of this fight.

First time I have seen a referee count out a boxer then allow him to continue . Ammo Williams a convincing winner, but Jenkins in my mind, had already been counted out.

Kelly let himself down, maybe showed his limits and though it's not proper boxing the Danish woman was a victim of robbery like GGG in the first fight, gutting when a fighter's record decades in the making is spoiled by bent judging and she won't get a rematch either, boxing can be filthy at times.

Can't see canelo wanting to go near Smith as smith is a monster at the weight, not expecting time for another cuppa from the AJ fight, if it goes past four he will look a bit of a twat really.

you wonder why you stay up when you know the anthems will outlast the fight, probably not even time for another cuppa

I did laugh when Joshua was asked at the weigh in if he had a message for those staying up late to watch him and he said 'I won't keep you up long'

Either way it's a no lose for fat boy and a life changing payday if he's not a mug or mugged off

fair round for fat boy, held the middle and didn't look outclassed, worth remembering he almost had parker who took Joshua 12 too

Beautiful round of boxing, I love an upset, Joshua is looking the twat and this could be upset of the century, come on Ruiz

hope I didn't wake the 94yo next door up when Joshua hit the deck, he is doing a cracking impression of Bruno so far, is looking a twat and eddie's pants will be full now, come on ruiz
