No obsession, just that we Scots have an objective opinion based on the respective abilities and form of all the teams, and this objectivity differs somewhat from that of the jingoistic one adopted by the English media and fans.

Most world cups and Euros I have had the bonus of supporting Holland. And Wales, Scotland and Ireland/ROI when they took part.

Tell you what. 11 v 11 is amatuer. Should be 2 a side and we can get the lads from the local takeaways to team up and make it a truly global event.

Haven't seen much of the World Cup so far due to work commitments, but off today so going to watch all 3 games.

Thought Denmark vs Australia was a decent match, but have to say seeing those Peruvians in their white shirts with the red sash is giving me nightmares, remembering the World Cup of 1978.

The best odds available on that draw went from 13/5 to 21/20 within the space of 20 minutes last night. Might be even lower now.
