England were pretty poor tonight but would Still make them 50/50 to win against Columbia.
Neither team was great, it was only one good goal that decided it. People read too much into these things.
Bit worried about Pickford. Championship keeper.

Don't think there has been a stand out team going into the knock out stages.

Brazil have looked good in patches, but still think Argentina will come through and win.

that has to be to the most bitter and twisted comment so far about the world Cup from a Scostman. Just so wrong in every way
Pretty accurate though. Colombia in the Last 16, and the winners of World super powers Switzerland vs Sweden in the quarters should they get through.

A Scottish mate over here said the same. I doubt Colombia is such an easy match. Quarters neither.
One impressive result and England are all of a sudden world beaters.

What's the alternative - Joe Hart!!! the world's worst keeper who is incapable of catching a ball.

Once again, no on e has said england are world beaters, not even the press. It's just made up by bitter Scots. No england fan I talk to thinks that.

Looking forward to the Last 16 starting today. Think both these matches could be good.

Hopefully Argentina play much better than in the Group Stages. Tough half of the draw, and whatever team comes through will have deserved to do so.

Thought both games today were excellent.

France and Uruguay well deserved winners.

CavanI will rightly take all the plaudits for his 2 goals, but have to say that Saurez was ansolutely brilliant.

Great performance from Neymar.

Oscar nomination guaranteed.

His little performance on the touchline about 20 minutes towards the end was utterly pathetic.

Wasn't it just. Not even touched and performed his dying Swan act. Shame that such a great player has to resort to this.

Well, can James, Falcao and Co derail the England juggernaut that scraped a win against Tunisia, put 6 past the Dog and Duck X1 and lost to a reserve Belgium side.

We can but hope.

Ssjsa forgetting England fielded a reserve side last time as well, there.

Can you imagine the reaction in Scotland and Wales should the spawny fuckers actually win the World Cup.

We would never hear the end of it. Samaritans on speed dial.

Jordan Henderson doing a great Neymar impersonation.

That being said Columbia lucky to still have 11 men on the pitch.

Not quite seething, but hugely disappointed that Columbia did not eliminate England tonight.
