Not quite seething, but hugely disappointed that Columbia did not eliminate England tonight.
Columbia were disgusting. Only a Scot could have wished that team through after last night. They were a disgrace. Luckily your views are predictable and irrelevant on htis subject ;)

50 50 game again. Two well organised teams with not a huge amount of creativity.
I hope our willingness to get forward with a bit of pace creates enough opportunities to convert one. Another set piece but this time I think we will just hold on for a 1 nil win. They have not created many chances in games themselves.

Very closely matched teams though. Sweden put out Holland and Italy so know what they are doing.

As a 46 year old Englishman this is the stuff of dreams!

Do I think we’ll win it? Probably not, but in a four horse race anything is possible!

Just hoping we don’t see any ‘hooliganism’ should we fall at the next fence. As far as the media has reported the whole event has been very well spirited - something I genuinely wouldn’t be the case.

Another game that is there to be won (and lost)
The chance for the players to make themselves legends. I hope they take it!

Great match on at the moment between what has clearly been the best 2 teams in the tournament.

Belgium been dominating thus far, but with the quality of both goalkeepers, could be 1 goal will decide the match.

One goal from a set piece decided it.
Hope that happens tomorrow ;)

Nah, one nil is fine!!

A look back at the records shows that anymore than a goal or two is very unusual (Brazil v Germany 4 years ago not withstanding)

Think it’s been a great World Cup for our lads.

If you had told me three weeks ago we would narrowly lose in the semi-finals I would have thought you were on drugs.

Great summer so far, and a great World Cup.

Keep smiling folks.

Got to be in it to win it. Have your rmonent but I'd rather go through the highs and lows of the last 3 weeks than sit on the sidelines winging and moaning and wishing it was us.

Been excellent to go this far. Gutted but looking forward to watch together with the Belgians on Saturday for the last match.
Well done the lads.
Let's hope some of the other home nations who didn't qualify can take part next time.
