Is Frrome going to win?

Based on what Frome did in Italy there is no way I would bet against him yet.

Froome now evens from 4/6, with Thomas moving in to 6/4.

Have put a sizeable bet(for me) on Froome as Team Sky are going to want him to win.

Great stage today.

Harsh on Nibali. Police bike had to slow due to the smoke from dicks with flares.

Thomas isn't going to blow up like Yates did a couple of months ago. Hopefully will come down to the time trial on the penultimate day.

G was brilliant. But I think he will blow.

Even said in the interview that "Froomey knows how to ride 3 weeks." He came across well though.
"Can we go to Paris now?"
Want him to win the whole thing.

Didn't Yates lose 37 minutes or something ridiculous in that state Froome went nuts in at the Giro? He totally lost it.

Will be a case of Froome turning it on rather than Thomas blowing up, imo.

Yates lost it big time but he would have been well behind even if stayed in the maon peloton , Frome killed it.

Yates looked unbeatable for 2 weeks. Won 2 stages like G.
Legs went the 3rd week. Suspect that will happen in the Pyrenees.

The Tourmalet stage and the hilly TT will be massive.

There's a great BBC article about the Sky plans on that stage. Every member of the crew was on the course with gels and feeds for Froome at strategic points. Like an F1 pit crew, they made a massive difference that day. Brilliant tactics.

Froome looked to struggle a bit today. The Froome of a few years back would have kicked on and won the stage, today he got caught each time

Was pretty poor the constant booing up the Huez.

Part of the problem is similar to the PDC.

Race organisers have been advertising with shots of bad behaviour and flares to encourage a "party atmosphere" leading to this increase in badness at the roadside.

They only have themselves to blame.

It's hilly and punchy. He might as well have a go. The TT isn't for another week.
