If you think this is bad weather just wait until it comes to Scotland in 2014. We are sunbathing in this sort of weather, soft southern nancys the lot of you.
Re: You see this is what happens
The decision to hold it in Octobr is lunacy. Its been put back this far now because of the Yanks and their FedEx end of season playoffs.
Move it back to September in future and we might be alright.

Oh Carrot, carrot carrot carrot, you poor misguided fellow. The Celtic Manor is one of the best euipped golfing resorts in the world and anyone who has entered Wales along the M4 will have seen it towering over the motorway some sort of Bavarian castle. It has to be one of the best settings for an international tournament around, apart from the Milennium Stadium that is, oh thats in Wales as well isn't it, build to budget and on time as well (ahem wasn't Wembley miles over budget and way over time?).Carrot wrote:when you allow a third-world Principality host an major sporting event.

As doubtless as that may be, the time of year to hold an event like this is ridiculous.nikkiboy wrote:Oh Carrot, carrot carrot carrot, you poor misguided fellow. Indeed, but had the event been held at the normal time of year (1/2 weeks beforehand), this situation may have been avoided.nikkiboy wrote:and show the cluelessness and utter stupidity of the comment because most of the UK was a washout yesterday as well duh!Bradders wrote:As doubtless as that may be, the time of year to hold an event like this is ridiculous.nikkiboy wrote:Oh Carrot, carrot carrot carrot, you poor misguided fellow. And even if it hadnt, holding it around the 20th September would have given organisers extra light at the start and end of each day to catch up. As it is, they all trudged off at 1845.
This is all the Yanks fault with their silly FedEx Cup thing. Its pushed the Ryder Cup back to October. Ridiculous.

Yes, out of all the European countries that could have hosted it, only Wales has rain.
The Celtic Manor is a fine venue, the golf course being purposely built for the Ryder Cup.
