Good darts players but i wouldn't say in their era that any of them in the pics above were the best in their time

instance on both Bobby George and Keith Dellers time instance in Georges time
at the top you had players like Lowe , Bristow , Rees , Wilson, Bob Anderson , Gregory
whom were better to name only a few

In the days of yon guy whom thinks he is a joker whom wears the Hawaii shirt
then i wont even mention as todays top players are all much better than him as darters
Priestley also a good player but in his time Van Barneveld and Taylor were tops
to name a couple and they lasted the test of time in comparison also it seems .

As for the walk on females well lets just

Meantime vv

There's a darter fae Fife whom plays the game
and some player he is , Stevie's the name
No man sais he , shall stand in his way
there is no other when on his day

180's are easy, as dbles are so
When he stands at the oche, to put on a show
as his dart hits the bullseye , the other players pout
count 1, 2 and 3 game shot, over and out

Now come try and beat him , if you dare
but when Stevie's on fire, you better beware
Whose No1, on Fife's golden shore's
There's only one outcome, as Stevie's dart soars :D

Where does it claim these players were "best of their time"?

Dennis and Keith both won world titles so they must have been the "best" at some point. Bobby won the News of the World which people claim was the toughest title to win and Wayne should've won a world title in 2008 but blew his chance.

But this don't stop them being Legends!

It's all subjective anyway - IMO, Priestley is the second best player ever behind Taylor. Would've won a lot more titles in any other era, but others would argue Barney or Bristow.

Either way I'll be there and looking forward to a great night.

Personally Mardle isn't in same class and is just another Bobby George > a joker in the pack

As for guys i mentioned in my previous post then these guys were miles above these two

Anyhow Taylor in his time has proved beyond doubt he has been the best regards the titles won
barney comes 2nd in that era i reckon and now we have some others like Gary Anderson
and Van Gerwen although don't forget the darts and dartboards are better nowadays
with the no staples and thinner wiring system and so practically no bounce outs.

Deller had a good year i remember but players like Bristow , Wilson , Rees, Bob Anderson, Mike Gregory
were better and ye i say Deller was a better player than the clown guy Mardle by far as were
the majority of players

Id take him on myself and fancy winning but hey all to their own in what they think
but the winning of the trophies is no 1

Now you want me to post my trophies through the past i won and 3 times putting out pros
on route ? VV
