Re: The soprano's
never seen the show in my life till about 2 months ago.Downloaded the complete series of 86 episodes.
Although it was a fine show , It was not as good as I thought as so many people kept telling me it was superb

For me The Sopranos is the greatest TV show ever - violence, nudity, comedy & swearing - what more you want?

for anyone who has yet to watch it you have to give it time, it is not a joke based comedy. My missus hates it! but as I have a bit of Larry David in me I think its great.mod500 wrote:Best thing on the telly and they are showing it all on the new sky channel.Curb your enthusiasm

Re: The soprano's
I had never seen Curb your enthusiasm and bought series one on DVD recently to give it a go. Nikkiboy is spot on when he says you have to give it time. To start with i found it a little slow and hard going but as the characters are slowly revealed it becomes very funny indeed. I am going to purchase more in time but will wait for the right moment when the sales are on.
As for the Sopranos i still haven't seen it yet but i do think that i would enjoy it. Again as and when the price is right i will buy it.
Also being a western fan i need to get hold of Deadwood because i have been told that was a good series too.
