They're making the new series with a studio audience returning I read the other day.

saw the Dave special where they came to earth as their characters and had to find the actors who play them, it was ok but not the best of the bunch

Yeah I wasn't keen on that at all, hopefully the new series will be much better than that.

I think my favourite Red Dwarf was the hole in time space episode where they just went back and forth with the same dialogue
