Scolia automatic scoring.

Post by neil »

I have been talking to these guys for a while now. A couple of months ago I went over to Hungary to spend a few days with them and playing on their system, testing it out etc. Its very, very impressive with more features in the pipeline.

It's available now and yes its pricey. But it's a world first as far as I am aware and its bloody amazing. I know a couple of things they are developing and it's good stuff ;)

5p for a piece of chalk. :D

Love the technology, but I think it will make people lazy when learning counting/combinations and what happens when there is an error and player throws subsequent darts incorrectly?

Is there any alternative for this? I see competitors mentioned in videos which speak of a closer circle/tunnel round the side.

I’ve seen some that look like there for arcades, similar looking to an arcade machine.

I ask because I and friends are useless at counting (and darts full stop!) I bought a unicorn automatic board and found it be very disappointing.

I am very interested in this but that’s quite the price tag!!
