King left on 80 and went T20 instead of T16.

He took it out too.

They say how professional he is - that proves it to me.
Why would anyone ever go T16 from 80? Unless D16 is the only double in your book surely it's just silly?
I agree, what if he hit a 16 with his first dart, he'd have to go either 14 bull, or try to hit another treble to leave himself a double, a foolish way to go for 80.

i know taylor is the greatest dart player ever, but sky, especially sid waddell are obsessed!
sid ruins commentary, for me anyway, on other players by his constant name dropping.
get a grip sky, it takes a whole set of players to make a great tournament

The sooner Sid goes the better, maybe we could package him off to the US as a gift

He'd do well over there.

The US would send him off to Guantanimo for use as a form of torture. Having to listen to hour after hour of his silly drivel................ :MNNN:

Unfortunately, the gems have become too far in between. There was a time I loved listening to him....but no more. Why are you surprised I can understand him?

Great night at the Winter Gardens tonight. Brilliant that Steve Brown won. Jenkins way out of form and over-weight. Clinical performances from Anderson & Whitlock, while Klaasen was breathtaking at time. All 4 Dutch players have made it through - 3 of them were qualifiers!

12 Round 1 games so far and by my counting we've lost 7 seeds - Lewis, Hamilton, Osborne, Priestley, Thornton, Jenkins & King. All of those 7 had serious Premier League qualification hopes going into this event!

Glad Steve won tonight. His first big win, and you could see the nerves.

Averages may be lower than usual, but you have to start somewhere.

Quite a few missed double bringing the average down somewhat.

Can kick on from here.

Go-on my son. :WWWW:
