I think he means 2nd on the rolling one year seed list. So with Taylor being absent, Lewis should be seed #1 tomorrow.checkmate wrote:no 5 i think ?????? whitlock, taylor, anderson & lloydthedragon wrote:adie now the #2 on the players championship order of merit. But Lewis was defending £6,000 from his Salzburg win last year (5th of September) so he stays where he is. Number 3 seed tomorrow.Bradders wrote:I think he means 2nd on the rolling one year seed list. Fair play to Lewis, 25/1 before the start of play today.
All he needs is consistency, there's no doubt the lad is more than capable.

Aha. Was unaware of what event was held last year on this weekend, if any. It works on a two year system, not one, doesn't it?

No.DaveBrown wrote:It works on a two year system, not one, doesn't it?
The main Order of Merit is 2 year.
The Players Chanpionship OoM (used to decide qualifiers for TV events) is a calendar year.
The Rolling One Year Players Championships OoM (used to decide Pro Tour seeding) is a rolling one year period.

Ok.
Cheers for the clarification Bradders.
What are the seeds tomorrow then? Same?

I'm sure someone will work them out and post shortly. I'd do it myself if I had access to my laptop.DaveBrown wrote:Ok.

Hell of a do.
What board did you mark? (I'm presuming this is the marking scheme everyone is there for?)

Board 1 and the game between dudbridge and whitlock
Quick question, just how many times are you allowed up to the pass at an all you can eat buffet?
At present Krispy and chissy are 3 plates ahead but I'm trying to catch up

And for Farmer too, for that matter![]()
No doubt Ando was going strong but then his bad shoulder kicked in. Would almost certainly have won otherwise and then called up Phil Taylor and challenged him to a fight and beat him up and then they would have made him king of the world... but alas, that pesky shoulder.

No doubt a lucky win given the easy opponent in the last game
Re: Players Championship 25: Crawley, 4th September 2010
Is this the same easy opponent that beat Anderson, Dudbridge, Wade and Hamilton en route to the final?GRAYISALEGEND wrote:No doubt a lucky win given the easy opponent in the last game
Of course he must have been an easy opponent as you hadn't heard of him.
Re: Players Championship 25: Crawley, 4th September 2010
Jees we've got some have a go heroes on here, for their information farmer was awesome today, he never missed a double til the last leg.
The game against anderson and lewis were two of the best games I have ever seen. But for farmers missed double the lewis game would have been 5-5 but I reckon in those two games farmer hit 10 - 14 x 180's
Gary didn't have a chance in the deciding leg with farmer kicking off with something like 180 - 140 and he had no complaints when he lost
