he is always someone who ive heard can play truly amazing darts on the floor and in exhibitions etc. and this will feel very much like a floor comp for the players imo so i think we could se how good anderson really is tommorow

i'm hoping so anyway :)

We see how good all of the players really are all the time. Every player is as good as the results they get. Everything else is just talk.

Fear for Nicholson tomorrow.

you knew what i meant! :banghead:

Winner: Phil Taylor

Eliminated: Mark Walsh, Robert Thornton

Players in Group 2: Colin Lloyd, Simon Whitlock, Mervyn King, Adrian Lewis, James Wade, Ronnie Baxter, Gary Anderson, Paul Nicholson. Group 2 will be played on Wednesday September 8th.

Tournament Earnings (after Group 1):
Phil Taylor: £3,100
Colin Lloyd: £2,300
Mervyn King: £2,150
Simon Whitlock: £1,850
Adrian Lewis: £1,450
James Wade: £1,450
Mark Walsh: £1,400
Robert Thornton: £1,100
Job done for the GOAT. Imo the 2 that finished bottom today will in reflection perform better than some yet to come into the comp. Thornton of late has been playing some great darts and always with great passion. Walshy will be one that some players will feel surprised and more so relieved that he isn't there after some match practice. This is what makes this tournament interesting for me almost. Stamina and focus should be a young man's game but there are exceptions :D

Nope. You would have guessed BArney. But guess what? He's waiting until the competition is a little lighter before entering.

I doubt thats the reason. He could easily have come in in Group 1, avoided relegation each day and earned handy money. Coming in later gives him less room for error. Barney is the 2nd best player in the World, I don't think he fears these early groups.

I'd imagine his schedule is busy - he has an exhibition this Friday in Ennis (Co. Clare in Ireland). He may have one somewhere else in Ireland tomorrow.

And were these Irish exbos booked before or after the PDC 2010 schedule was announced?

Oh, and it's nice to see I have a fan. Therefore I have offered you the same courtesy in my signature, the difference being I'm not being a prize prat and not using your real name that you don't frequent this forum with.

His 1st mistake was calling himself Viperfan. The Viper can count his fans on 1 hand :DDD: :DDD:
