Feels like I have just wasted at least 20 mins of my life to read this "he said, she said "thread just to find out who got through...

If there is no ranking points, why should it not be a genuine open, bet the players themselves (from either code) are not afraid of mixing it up, its just the pointless posturing of the officials (and forum trolls) that does my head in - why they don't all just take a pile of tissues into a cubicle and sort themselves out, I'll never know....

However, this bit I was not aware of -

Tournie in Cardiff today which is open to all will be have one of the strongest welsh fields for many a day at a weekend tournie.Which is a win win situation for all, competive games for the players and good support for the organisers.[/quote]

Just spoke to Grubby poor turnout 49 men 9 ladies. - now that is bad news. Have to ask, how well advertised was this?- I didn't know about this today - not that I would have won, but I could have boosted the numbers by 1 or more - did I miss something ????

Posted on here in the Tournie section ages ago.

But I take your point about knowing about events especially in Wales .

I usually find out after they have happened.

The numbers that turned out may tell organisers that advertising is everything.

Celtic Cup didn't help either.

Who won ??

Yes and Monk/Jenkins will be playing the pair Wade/Whitlock bottled out of playing yesterday. Just a shame they have managed to steal £300 before being dumped out.

No they won't. They went out a few rounds back. And I think you Monk/Jenkins beat them!
