Beaton got booed out of it last year and there was nothing said, I recall Jacko Barry being interviewed on stage amid the glory.

Both averaging over 100 after 5 sets - blimey.
Agree with the comments about Sid.

Still would put Taylor favourite for the match even though he is behind.
His consistency is solid, unlike Gary who can go off the boil so rapidly as he is doing now.

Is Gary mentally strong enough to win a deciding set.
At least make Taylor win it Gazza, don't give it him.

Fantastic game.. Taylor's experience at winning this sort of tough game may come through - he very rarely dips.. pressure and then more pressure..

Where is Ando's killer instinct?
All over now bar the shouting, damn shame as Anderson played amazing early doors.
Fickle fickle crowd.

Great great game. Loved it. I think Phil enjoyed too.
Anderson has a LOT of bottle - that game proved it. Not may players would have taken it that close.
and hats off to the master - proving he still is.

Anderson was visibly tired. Stamina must be something he'll have to work on, but hes surely a future world champion.

I'm glad Gary showed what he could do and is one of the few players to have really scared Taylor.
He was on fire earlier and to be honest only the beast that is Taylor could have lived with him.
Gary just too "nice", but one thing is for sure - ANDERSON'S GAMES ARE ALWAYS BOX OFFICE.
Gary can be rightly proud of a great performance, Taylor once again proves he is an unparalled phenom and the others will only get a look in when he gives up the game.
Although Gary was 3-1 up, I never felt that anything other than a Taylor victory was on the cards.
