Unfortuantely no the Midland Open will not follow, I have lost my sponsor so I am on the lookout for a new sponsor and possible new venue.

Got to say yesterday was a another Day of Darts to be remembered with a class field. As for the 83 players a good few were more than capable of taking the title. Many players from all around the country as far field as Kings Lynn and Somerset. Many thanks to all the helpers yesterday, Les, Gill and Tracey and Brian. Mark Chiswell for chalking the final and Ginge for calling it. Natalie Gilbert winning the Ladies after beating Shelley Bontoft Gash.

Quality day!! Some great people and some great darts albeit not from me, went out first round to Nick Fulwell 4-0. Cracking venue but by god it was warm in there!! Took a fair bit of liquid onboard all day to try and keep cool :D Had a drink with IFM who is one quality thrower, his game against Mace wouldn't have looked out of place on tv tonight.
Congrats to the organisers on a successful day, i will definitely look to come back up for the next one.. :DDDD:
