Isle of Man Open 2016

England darts are the new organisers of the Isle of Man festival of darts. The festival has over £30,000 prize money with PokerStars the new headline sponsors. The event takes place at the Villa Marina in Douglas between 10-13th March
Entries can be made from the main page of http://www.englanddarts.co.uk

There will be no late entries taken, you must register prior to 8th March.

Think it was announced they were on board the day they announced they won the tender. Top prize for the big event has still gone down £2k, though, and that's what the detractors will latch onto.

Most big prizes are won by the tour regulars , the money has been allocated more evenly , the Thursday event carries more points as wel.
In the open last 32 ladies pay out £50 , also an Event for those who don't earn any money in the main event .
Fairer to the majority of darters IMO .
After all the shenanigans of the tender process it's time to get on with event. Entries online and postal beginning to come in now! Will be seeing a return of some familiar faces to the event which will be good.
