It's testament to the unremitting stupidity of the BDO board (amongst others) that another 253 pages have been squeezed out of it since that fateful day.

I think 295 was the first event cancelled, there was still another 3 events on the calendar at that point (and the Masters being at the Copper Box infront of 4 million people and the WDT being at Events City)

Worth reminding people aswell of Paddy McGinty's disgusting behavior on this thread - encouraging people to allow Warren Brown to keep their ticket money 'for trying'. As I said at the time, be very careful of Paddy. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Wouldn't surprise me if he was on a commission from Warren Brown for those terrible, unscrupulous posts.

I'm glad John bumped this thread yesterday.

The administrators and Insolvency Service are still dealing with it all, still no closure at Companies House.

And Nick, "no" is the answer to the question you are about to ask.

Indeed, this got me back into posting after 9 months without a single post. It was a glorious time. Just so so obvious to most of us. but it seemed most people in the know (!!!!!) fell for it good and proper (Apart from Bag Carrier)

Twas a great time in forum land when: once upon a time the BDO received a call from Santa Clause (real name Warren)...

Loyalty was to be rewarded.
The 'haters' were seething.
10 people could have 20% of the profits, each!
The figures were flipping fantastic.
The players were coming back in their droves.

Hot dogs, cheap beer, big venues and a brand new era! All hail Auntie Sue! This going to plan will save her. If it doesn't then she will fall on her sword or be voted out.......ermmmm!

Superb thread. May have to re:read it!

Here's the funny thing. And it is something Nik references in his sig. Were it not for the ongoing flame war between 'M*shrooms' and 'Fanboys' - Warren may have managed to swindle a lot more people out of their hard earned than he did. I don't think he was expecting the kind of scrutiny he came under. In some ways it reminds me of Craig Whyte and Charles Green at Rangers - they had Celtic fans forensically analyzing their every move. In fact it was a Celtic fan who discovered Whyte had mortgaged future season ticket money to fund his purchase of the club. So in a funny kind of way, having nosey neighbours like Ginge making phonecalls and looking into certain things isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Don't forget the goody bag and the free tenner punt with their Sports Betting Partner.
Both were integral parts of the overall package.

But I thought forums were evil?
I'm confused.
