Not sure how this has turned into this crap.Its no one's fault but his own for selling pirate goods. Unfortunately it's one of those crimes that to everyday Joe doesn't seem to hurt anyone and I see it that way to a degree but the law comes down on these things harshly. Hardly Ginges fault that Bas was allowed to promote his business on here for years.

You have to accept the fact that basgooner was very open about his illegal sale of dvd's. He basically advertised it this forum with thousands (?) of members. I am guessing he advertised it elsewhere.

The TV companies are clamping down on this. Some guys who were selling kits to pub (with a small monthly charge) to access satellite stuff were recently sent down for many years.

Re the 'spat' with Ginge: from memory I seem to recall Basgooner was playing the moral high ground card over some issue and Ginge came back pointing out his illegal activity (ps I might be totally wrong as to how I recall it).

Maybe basgooner just thought sky, BT etc would never be bothered with folk like him?
