Paddy is a mate of mine, so I think you deserve another whoosh.

Anyway, enjoy your day off.

I have a slightly different story - our superleague team stepped in to chalk the ladies matches at Rotherham Champions Cup a few years ago when we had an hour or so spare between rounds (or should I say rule changes!!). We chalked the last 8 and of the 8 ladies playing 7 winning or losing thanked us most profusely, the one who didn't just looked at us as if we were hired lackies, didn't even say thank you and didn't shake our hand. No mistakes were made whilst chalking nothing to put her off just plain rudeness, so much so we downed tools went to the bar and got pissed, WCPDA or whatever bag carrier's user name is knows exactly who I am talking about, never again..

Now the lady who I carry bags for is the opposite, often will be seen at events start events off by being a volunteer marker, at recent Dutch open although lost a semi final late on the Saturday evening was watching start of men's last 64 and needed a marker! She stepped straight up and marked.
We have a rule abroad if it's winner marks in the early rounds I will mark for her, but if she loses a match she will always mark.

I'd guess Trina or Paula.

They seem to be the two that get hate

Trina always either marks or gets somebody to mark for her straight away, never holds up a board , Dudley 1975 where do you see hate towards Trina?? I've been saying for months she was coming back to her old form , probably since selsey in June, if she gets her consistency back will win a lot more, 30.06 ave at weekend.

Plenty of hate here and on other forums in the past.
Trina always strikes me as a decent sort, always friendly at Lakeside.

I volunteered to mark Deta and Rachel's QF (or possibly SF) at the Welsh last year after a losing pair buggered off. They were both charming.

Meanwhile I got ripped by the lads for marking when I should have been drinking. :CCCCC: :CCCCC:
