It's more about NHS capacity being better in the Summer (from a UK perspective)

Yep, couldn't stop watching it. The smaller teams for me were the highlights.

Yes because Flu and other viruses spread slower in the winter for many reasons. Three of the biggest/most obvious are the air is less humid to viruses last longer particulary indoors increasing spread. Droplets last longer on surfaces and more people spend longer indoors in close proximity to other people again increasing the spread.

It all pretty basic science.
