Well apparently we will soon see the benefit of the 'strong measures' this country has taken and they expect to see that reflected in the numbers.

Meanwhile, in Italy, a country that has been on lockdown a week, there are 400+ deaths in one day and bodies are being transported around by the army to ease pressure on crematoriuma.

The measures taken imo are nowhere near strong enough. Reading that the advice to stop frequenting pubs and restaurants has in the main yielded disappointing results. Am at a complete loss to understand those who are failing to see the potential severity of this pandemic, and given that, personally think a lock down should be implemented from this weekend.

Not quite. They will be singing "You'll never walk alone, as I will be there, albeit it, far more important than you"

Ah it has just twigged. Are you working on an incorrect assumption I am a fan of Sevco?

Very bemusing. Oche and Stran are the forum huns, not me.
I just think its an atrocious song tbh.

Haven't had NEtflix on yet this week, they said they were reducing the picture quality. Has this been noticeable?

Him coming out with that 12 week claim yesterday was idiotic and completely a figure pulled from thin air without any scientific evidence. This is going to be a long long ride and still don’t think enough people both public and those in power have quite grasped that yet.
I'd say they definitely have grasped it - I know some of the top politicians are pretty thick but they're not that thick and they do have lots of smart people working with them and the evidence from other countries, etc. Which means what they're doing must be deliberate. I think they're downplaying it on purpose - though I'm not entirely sure why - probably many reasons.

If you like. I pay £50 to a charity of your choice if I dont have a table in a restaurant in town on Friday evening. You pay the equivalent in Euros (or in pounds, whatever is easier for you) if I do to a charity of my choosing. Deal?
