Its not a rolling year then is it? Silly silly silly.

Its a rolling year from 1st October for every comp that counts towards 2013. He said people were told of the move to cut of date next year, selsey moved there's one way to fit it in for next year and the French moved it the other so it won't be counted, pretty silly of them really.

so its not a rolling year, you cant have a rolling year starting from the 1st of october and not include events played after that date. For the next year its just going to be the same as last year but 12 events instead of 10 and the following year it will be rolling.

Deta v Ana stands out for me

It`s certainly interesting in the groups of 3 by the ladies. If Ana doesnt beat Deta then it could be her great performance last night will count for nothing, even if Trina beats Deta earlier in the day.

The match for Deta against Ana today is a `must win` regardless of how she gets on against Trina. The same for Irina against Aileen, it is a `must win` regardless of the outcome of her game against Tamara. Maybe it would have been better for both seeds not to have been a seed

Good darts from the girls , Tamara actually hit 2x180's and had another 2 in the treble when a third fell out , her doubles were scratchy but said that was her first time on a bog stage with tv cameras ! But she loved the experience !
Bit worried have never seen Deta so relaxed at a darts event before ......... Think the 3 bottles of wine her and Lorraine Farlam shared helped !
As spud said had good chat with BDO bazza , the rolling rankings make sense now the reasons for the new ranking is something Avalon will be well pleased about!!! .
Barry was very candid with us and was good enough to listen to a variety of ideas , the board have been very busy even if a lot of the workload has been of a housekeeping nature.
After lakeside 2013 we will see a huge difference in the world champs.
