Board 7 could be tough for Winstanley, based on yesterday's results.

Re: PDC Qualifying School - Day Two
One of the stats gurus (not sure if ACF or sly) mentioned on yesterday's thread that 11 points would have been enough if last year's events had run by this year's rules. I suspect 12 will look very good in the end.polarbear70 wrote:What do we think will be the kind of point total needed to get to the last 20 qualifying places.
As the 4 automatic places are not accruing points I think a 9 and a mid level point score could be enough.
A 9 and a 5 should be definitely good.
One thing to keep in mind is that the automatic card winners of the next three days could well be players who already amassed high points totals on their previous days, e.g. one of the 9-pointers from yesterday could be removing himself from a high position in the table, which would be better news for everybody else than if the next card winners are players who don't have many points yet. (In other words, other players should be rooting for the Jeff Smiths rather than the Dean Winstanleys of Day 1.)
Re: PDC Qualifying School - Day Two
Good luck to Martino Tagliapietra, yesterday he won 6-5 against Ross Smith, today at the first round he plays Gareth Cousins.
