Europe Cup Youth

Post by Welsh Wayne »

Good to report that Wales had a good showing in this Tournie.

Nick Kenny winning the Boys Singles.

Semi finalist in the Boys Team.

Kimberley Lewis reaching semis of the Girls event. Anastasia must be creating some interest in ladies darts in her homeland as the Girls final was an all Russian affair.

Kimberley also being part of the winning team in the Girls Team event.

Well done all. :DDDD: :DDDD: :DDDD:

Nick Kenny must be a top player as he beat our very own Paddy Meaney in the final, I marked a board for him in a youth tournament and this kid is unreal!

Congrats to all the winners, including Wayne's Welshies and "my" Dutch kids.

The future of darts looks fine, if only sponsors will further support these youngsters in their darts careers.

I think the state of darts in Russia is growing, the girl that won the youth singles beat anastasia last time she was over there in a little comp.

Watch this space for the Russians in darts. Its getting bigger, And we have all seen how they promote there best in sports.

I think he worked out it was too costly to travel to the mainland and basically plays some local stuff in Ireland now.
