HEAD TO HEAD MONEY MATCH
heard a rumour from the inverness portland open at last weekend that talk is of a big money match winner takes all later in year
rose montgomerey & Pecky woods v james wade & simon whitlock
sounds like easy monies for the pdc duo
cant see monty & woods getting the backers, unless it is golf they are playing

Re: HEAD TO HEAD MONEY MATCH
Maybe we should all club together and sponsor Ross for this match. I'm sure he'd be very appreciative afterwards.

I want to choose a player to sponsor before I put any money in, thank you very much.ralph cifaretto wrote:Maybe we should all club together and sponsor Ross for this match. I'm sure he'd be very appreciative afterwards.
Preferably a young player.

Re: HEAD TO HEAD MONEY MATCH
No we'll say. Look Ross, we're happy to sponsor you for this head to head. However we are going to need to know how well you will play in the match BEFORE we give you any money. Are you going to play like you do in county matches and not lose a match in 10 years, or are you going to play like you do at Lakeside and not hit the board in 10 years?

In fairness to ROss.
He was trying new flights, that he had not used in competition before that night.. They seem to be working for him lately, with 2x12s and a 10 darter in one match last weekend...
Hes no mug.

I think he ditched them and went back to his old set up.Dicie wrote:In fairness to ROss.

Did seem a bit mad to try out a new set up for the first time in your biggest match of the year

Re: HEAD TO HEAD MONEY MATCH
Nobody's saying he's a mug. I'm just questioning the logic of Ross' decision making when he would probably have to put up 10k minimum for a winner takes all match with 2 'professionals' yet he cant give 10 pound to a player sponsorship fund.

In the same way, watching Taylor v Mardle/Manley/Painter could possibly be a good exhibition match
