Why can't I have the darts for finishing second ?

From the opening post:

If the winner does not notify Spaceman70 within this time than the organisers reserve the right to offer the prize to second place and/or another random draw winner, depending on the circumstances.

Basically if the highest points scorer fails to send in details, the next highest gets the darts. And if the random entry fails to send in details, another random entry gets the darts. Have always done it like this.

It was worth a try.

For the avoidance of doubt:

- Highest average was Thornton again (103.12). Only 4/113 got this
- Lowest average was Whitlock (88.01) 7/113 of you got this
- Highest checkout was 130 by Whitlock. 12/113 of you got this
- The number of 180's last night was 34, which isn't needed this week anyway

I have also picked a random post from the Week Nine thread to win a set of darts. There were 117 posts (including the opening one), and I used an online random generator to pick post #10 (the 10th post on Page 1). Therefore, Phil Davies is the lucky winner of the random draw! He wins a set of 27g John Lowe (10165) darts!

Sparky1981 just rang me he is having problems with his internet and unable to log on but wants to know can he get a set of darts
for having the best score not to win a set, said something about not giving a set to the random draw this week i told him sorry but dont think you get anything for second but he was a bit pissed and wanted me to put up the question here for him.
