WDO County Expenses

Post by Horus »

All Welsh counties will be asked to pay an extra £500 this year as an "emergency payment"

Winmau Masters playoff fee going up 100% for all members whether you play in them or not

Suppose trips to the Med need paying somehow

If true how does that constitute being on the take ???
Look at the pooh England got for increasing the fees from £100 to £300 steep I know but were frozen at £100 for 7 years .
Our winmau play offs etc are £5 but only if you enter not compulsory , what are the WDO fees to enter??

See thread title edited that's better !

Is the masters pay off fee not just included in the annual levy? I assume that it is.

Bit unfair to ask people who have no intention to play in the event to pay a fee towards it.

I assume it will be certain groups who will have to pay this fee - county players, Superleague players.

I'm sure when Catherine Zeta-Jones lived in Wales she didnt have to pay the fee either.

She doesnt play darts Ginge. Although I bet Wayne would be delighted if she signed up for Mumbles Rugby Club.

Do you play superleague or county Col , just checked the fee used to be £2 if Horus correct that's £4 seems harsh if all have to pay.

Don't you have to pay a fee every time you go there over that bridge. :)

Its normal practice for a toll to only be collected on one side of a bridge, for crying out loud. The Forth Road Bridge was the same.

I know, but those in Wales seem to get a bit hot under the collar surrounding the issue.

My understanding is you may only collect one side of the bridge but you pay both ways. Don't think that's the case here though.
