Thessaloniki - Greece Masters Darts Tour 2017

For third year in a row here in Thessaloniki Greece a big Darts Tournament is organized with players from all over Greece (and not only) competing each other.

Some words for the tournament:


For three years now in differnet places in Greece a series of tournaments taking place. Corfu, Kea, Crete and Thessaloniki.
The last three years was a great oppurtunity for players all over Greece, Cyprus and some German and British players to meet and compete each other.

Thessaloniki Masters Format:


This tournament is for players with invitation only. 24 local players will face 24 guest players in knockout matches in the first round.

The qualifiers will form 4 groups playing round robin in order to reach the quarter finals.


Thessaloniki Darts Open:


In the first year of the event there was only 70 players taking part in the open tournament.

Last year 97 players played and this year something similar if not bigger is expected.





I made some good friends through this series of events and always having fun in great venues, enjoying the hospitality of the local players.

Thessaloniki Masters Darts Tour 2017 Schedule

The event is seperated in four tournaments with throphys and cash prizes awarded to the top 4 of each one.

Day One Friday 08/12

Pairs Darts Open starting at 18:00


Day Two Saturday 09/12

Ladies Darts Open starting at 11:00


Thessaloniki Masters starting at 17:00


Day Three Sunday 10/12

That would be very difficult to be done Ginge even if someone wanted to.
Last year less than 10 players were foreign so that's impossible. But darts in Thessaloniki are really new and acts like have fixed draws will hurt the sport.
Believe me noone here is stupid enough to act like this.

A brilliant weekend of darts came to its end. Nice people great players great darts.
