The PDC is truly World Darts
A polish lad wins the event today....The biggest event of his career. and said he needed to average 105 all day ( he said only a 100 was needed for the masters).
Yesterday an Australian won the event
The Current World champion is English
The Masters Champion is Dutch
The Reigning Grand Prix Champion is Irish
The World Cup champs are Dutch, the runners up the Welsh
The current UK Open Champion is Scottish.
Today players from germany, brazil, poland, canada, belgium and countless other countries are beating established English players.
The PDC truly is the true World Darts org.

Brilliant post, just to add that the current Grand Prix champion couldn't beat Adams in either of their clashes at Lakeside which shows just what an awesome player Adams is.Garry Murphy wrote:A polish lad wins the event today....The biggest event of his career. and said he needed to average 105 all day ( he said only a 100 was needed for the masters).

Tell me how could I have posted this earlier and known the result of todays event ?
Feel free to point out any single error in my initial post.
I think you are simply replying based on the poster.

Re: The PDC is truly World Darts
Would have been better if the OP started with:
The reigning BDO Winmau World Master won a PDC event today!
The reigning BDO Winmau World Master won a PDC event today!
Re: The PDC is truly World Darts
He also said in his interview that you couldn't compare the two wins.
Re: The PDC is truly World Darts
Let's look at the post.
surely the pdc is leading the way in making darts, at the top level, a truely global game.
I remember lakeside (men) being British, Dutch and 1 Belgium player. They soon copied the pdc in having international qualifiers.
The pdc clearly see the global picture and are not just about protecting y the British and Dutch players.
I find it refreshing.

15 countries I believe are represented at the UK Open.
27 countries are hosting PDC affiliated events this season.

Re: The PDC is truly World Darts
Indeed devosteve but to be fair the Winmau World Masters has always been a good global event in that respect and the last running had players from Poland (who won the event), Germany (who went to the semis), USA, Japan, New Zealand, Romania and Ireland all in the last 32 men’s event.

There in lies the problem, most look at the poster not the post, and use their agenda to try find fault.devosteve wrote:Let's look at the post.

As you say, recent lakeside events were nothing but a uk and benelux comp.
The PDC does more for the game globally

Your not getting what i meant, like you had your finger over the submit button waiting for the pole to hit the winning dart,a kind of attention seeking post.As for aimed at the poster,i don’t know you from on here don’t remember seeing your posts,so it’s not aimed at the poster.Garry Murphy wrote:david cox wrote:Have you been itching to post that all day.

Are you actually crying over my factually correct statement ?
Or is it because I posted it ?
Last time I checked this was a Darts Forum where members discuss darts taking place so hardly surprising I would discuss the pole winning an event is it ?

It would interesting to know how many nationalities featured in the UK open the first few years.
