Hi,im trying to calculate the averages for the team format which consists of: fours 701, three's 601, doubles 501, and team of six 801. ie: Spencer threw 12 darts, 9,40,45,21 in the four's 701 (4 players in the team) 45,83,70 in three's 601 (3 players in the team) 60,45,41 in the doubles ( 2 in the team) 100,66 in the team game (6 in the team) how can I calculate his average? can you please help me as my head is starting to boil. :banghead:

Isnt't this simple maths? Add up his scores and divide by the number of darts to get his one dart average, multiply the one dart average by 3 to get a three dart average.

Or am I being thick?

Exactly what Ginge said , the game makes no difference. Add up the scores divide by darts thrown multiply by 3 for the three dart average.

Then take off 10 if you were playing on one of those big PDC boards.

Why would it be a flat 10 point deduction anyway? Surely the deduction would have to be a percentage? Hmm?

After extensive research you can deduct 17.5% from your average on a unicorn to find your actual average.
