Paula Jacklin for England
After her fine victory in the Torremolinos Open and her exemplary county form I believe Paula Jacklin should be under consideration for England honours. Got to be in the top 6 British Ladies imo.
Will it happen?

England team selection is predominantly done by county stats and EDO ran events, I believe.Ginge wrote:Number of Category A and A+ events on the calendar = 15

I ran a similar campaign on here for Andy Boulton to get in the Scottish team, it was unsuccessful.

Why worry about an England call up
Surely a fine filly of this Tungsten throwing calibre should be an automatic shoe-in for one of the BDO invites to the GSOD
I have also heard on the rumour mill that she's also put her name down to be the next lucky recipient of the hand of Ross

Paula is another one of the youth players that’s definitely one for the future. Can see her follow the mcgeeney route and make a major final in the next few years.

Re: Paula Jacklin for England
If she had won Lakeside instead of being the worst player there ...perhaps. Instead she's won a comp with 26 women in it....rule book torn up to let others play in the singles....if the rest of the top 10 had wanted to go the rules would have stood.
Beau with a massive average at the weekend to win the ladies at the Yorkshire classic ...plus winning 3 other titles there...she deserves a call up more than Jacklin
