Bit harsh! Blown away by a 108 average which was 118 for majority of the match, most people would be blown away by that.

Fantastic 107 checkout from Hughes, just when it looked like Mensur was getting the upper hand.

Jamie fell apart in that last leg, could have hurt Mensur if he had finished in 15 darts after Mensur started with two 180's.

Good to see Noppert, Cammy and Hughes all give a good account of themselves in their maiden ET event.

Superlative performance from Rob Cross, absolutely blew Lewis away there.

Peter Wright with a confidence-boosting 106 average, good to see, and draw has opened up for Snakebite with no reason to believe he can't go far this weekend.

Whitlock 6/7 on doubles/bull, but only a 92 average shows too many poor scores that will be punished by Chisnall tomorrow afternoon because Chizzy's timing will be better than Kanuk's was tonight. Simon has got to up it tomorrow.

They all got beat with sub 90 averages...I'd say all 3 were probably disappointed with the account they gave of themselves.

They did, but all 3 got through their first rounds with averages in the 90s, and started off their 2nd round matches well. Despite what some might say, there is a huge gap in the standard of the PDC and BDO, and will be a learning curve for these switchers. For me, I stand by my post that all 3 gave a good account of themselves, and I believe that although they will think they could have done better, overall think they will be happy with their debuts on the European Tour.

Agreed - if they weren't disappointed then what was the point in switching? They can all play better than that

Wouldn't say a huge gap! Only at the very top is there a consistent difference .
