So, £26 per singles.
Would have been £21 a couple of days ago if you booked early.
Sounds a rip off to me, no chance would I personally weigh out that much.
Thoughts?

Be interesting to see if that covers anything else, if not then £26 is a monsterous price for a single entry tournament.
The prize money must be astounding at that entry fee.

I'd look at it more as £20 to keep the "top players" money up and £6 towards sending a team to all International events ;)

Yes £6 makes all the difference

People moan about the Prize Money and then moan about the fees

I prefer Dean Winstanleys idea of £50 men £25 ladies .
If entered before June 1st 2 weeks before comp £21 entry , 1st prize £5000 men £2000 ladies how much are entries for Challenge tour and 1st prize , this is an A+ event , look at Wolverhampton Open £20 entry and what cat is it ? and what is first prize ? The men’s pay out to last 64 .
Neil is always having digs he is as big a shit stirrer elsewhere as IFM was on here .

It's published so if you don't like it, don't enter.

£26 to win £5k seems fine to me.

A few years ago people were paying £25 entry fee for the Early Bird Singles comp at Selsey and they filled the comp easily

So up a whole pound? Hardly a massive increase.

Are all England’s events in Selsey? Couldn’t they find a more central location

They tried Coventry once and numbers were poor, or something.

£20 entry and from memory think was a £5 surcharge as it states from £20 .

As an aside, I can see why some people may think £26 is a lot, it is a lot just to turn up and lose three/four legs when cheaper options exist and you have no hope in hell of ever winning a three figure (or more) sum. If you are there for a weekend though, and/or are one of the better players, £26 is nowt.

Have tried Ricoh, Southport pontins cesspit, Stockport Edgeley park , Hull got barely 150 men 40/50 ladies ! Current entries 378 men 97 ladies and normally get a last minute rush .
In the days of playing at other venues there was no Dev tour or challenge tour , so the entries very disappointing .
