I’ve always thought former world champions should get entry into the qualifiers.

Exactly I have no problem now that 96 are goign to Ally Pally having a 'Legends' qualifier winner into what was the prelim round will give a bit of early interest.

Only persons left who could play in it alongside Taylor would be Lowe, Deller, Bob Anderson, Priestly, Les Wallace, Walton, Fordham, Hankey with Burnett,Kist & Part (If they don't qualify by right)

The others have never played PDC so shouldn't really be extended an invite or are still active players with Tour Cards

Much rather see this than some other lady being included

Why on earth would they allow BDO world champions in? That makes no sense.

There’s not a vast amount of pdc wdc world champs to choose from; on a serious note I think Phil been very good on comms this week his insights & thoughts have been very good

You mean like they do with the old champions every year at Lakeside for 3 years after their win?

Tis true, they suddenly realise they don't have enough good players, an absolute joke as Taylor had retired in a lame attempt to take the limelight from MVG........if he came back now he would look an absolute arsehole........

Would be funny though.

Much rather see him losing in second rounds to Jermaine Wattimena than polluting the commentary box for the next decade.

Isn't that about the same as playing in the BDO World Champs at Lakeside ? but more profitable ?
