So let's get this right, Mrs Des and a few Lincs hangers on are booked to go to Spain so the BDO have bailed out a tournament with hardly any entries to the tune of £5000?
You said you didn't mind yesterday ?!
And jollyman said this was not an issue that needed transparency !
Lies lies lies

Didn’t say it didn’t need transparency. I said the idea that some on here think he needs to give a daily account of what he has done was ridiculous. He has to be transparent but he has to do it in the right manner. That isn’t posting onto the BDO website or on Facebook.

I would like to think enough of the board have okd this decision, that is enough for now. I’d expect him to clarify what happened here and be transparent to the counties at the next meeting.
Oh don't be so serious ;)

Do you agree with the decision if it involved money ?
I don’t agree, but at the same time we don’t know what was done to save the event

Why did it need saving?

I don't recall that Belgian one last year (?) getting a financial bailout when it was cancelled weeks beforehand.

I wonder if the new BDO chairman's wife could list all the events she has booked to attend so that I can be sure that they will never be cancelled because they will always be bailed out financially by the hubby, I mean the BDO chairman, I mean the BDO, I mean the counties, I mean players."

Sounds like one of you lot from here.

Come clean Ginge...........
When I read the reply about getting a job I thought that is Ginge's writing style. ;-)

Can we though Ginge, who's to say that it won't be bailed out again?
If Paula enters the event and needs the points, it will happen.

Seriously, if she gets to Lakeside on the back of some ranking points made in this event (with so few entries that she's almost guaranteed decent points), an event bailed out by her husband using BDO members' money then it is nothing short of utter corruption.
