I wonder how many Durrant will have to win to get to £300k in prize money
Can Durrant make it three in a row?

What do people think about the Hammer's odds?
Re: Can Durrant make it three in a row?
At lakeside ? I doubt it although my nephew lives close and he went the other year one afternoon and met Wolfie etc and said what a good day out it was.ChrisW wrote: Are you planning on joining the forum shindig this year?

He has to be worth a few quid cos if he gets a bit of a run together he is more than capable of walking through the field.ChrisW wrote:What do people think about the Hammer's odds?
However if he plays as he has really for the last few years he isn't going to put the fear of god into anyone facing him.
I personally think at top level his game has gone and nothing will make it return but he's certainly capable of having a good day and beating any current BDO player.

I think if Andy goes in as a non seed there will be a lot of fear in the seeded players as none of them will want to draw him, He has that big stage experience and at 25/1 is certainly worth a punt, Similar case for Wes could be made and has always been a player that has played better on the big stage than in floor comps but between the pair I would back Andy.el_ringo wrote:He has to be worth a few quid cos if he gets a bit of a run together he is more than capable of walking through the field.ChrisW wrote:What do people think about the Hammer's odds?

Outside of that, Glen will be flowing with confidence but my personal feeling is that this time around there will be a big outsider that will come through, Lot of players that have and can beat the big names there at big prices.

Re: Can Durrant make it three in a row?
You're right Paddy, they've got enough to worry about with whether it's on TV, whether they'll get paid the same as last year and will they have to sign over their first born to the BDO contract before they throw a dart to worry about some old has been that has been tearing up the BDO field and qualified for the showpiece at the first attempt.Paddy McGinty wrote:The BDO boys aint going to worry about some PDC has been............

The only 2 players who I would give a chance to beat him is Paul Hogan and Andy Hamilton

Well, if you stopped reading there, you wouldn't have seen my rationale for those suggestions.Black Velvet wrote:Stopped reading heressjsa wrote:Durrant a great bet at evens.

Still some big events left - British Open and England Classic Cat A+, British Classic and Vizcaya Open Cat A - so no-one from the mid-twenties down in the rankings is a shoe-in yetChrisW wrote:A good weekend in Sweden and he should do.Astonvilla wrote:Will Hamilton qualify. ?

Can you get insurance on Dave Parletti?
No, but you can go to Justgiving to cover your lost stake after the event.

To have a youth player that just have won his first floor tournament with the professionals this high for the World championships says a lot about the quality of this field. Having Newton so low in this field says a lot about Newton on the other hand.ChrisW wrote:Current odds offered at Bwin

To be fair Hankey & Adams are on it and they are at this moment about as likely to qualify as I am.
The fact they both aren't 500-1 + shows more about the odds setter knowledge of really

More that odd setters know that they can lay big names to less informed punters at silly short prices based purely on the fact that they are well known.
