Thought it would be good to have a new thread for the streamed part of the 45th World Masters.

How much money does the winner get?

Off tomorrow so will watch this in the afternoon. Hoping Nigel Heydon can have a good run.

Why is duzza on 1st when the majority of people will miss his game and not on in a prime time slot.

Just because it’s always been that way doesn’t mean it’s the correct way to do it.

Promote your stars. Duzza, Waites and Mitchell should all be on after 5pm when viewing figures should be at their highest.

I would agree if it was on TV, But the whole thing prob won’t get more than 1500 viewers at most.

Playing in the day is crazy when they trying to get people to follow the BDO more. Surely a teatime start and a late finish could have been done and get more online viewers. Not like they are trying to please a TV company or keep Winmau happy as they have stated there off.

Nope as Tony M confirmed this morning.

Prize fund same as last year I have been told tonight as Ana seen the Programme.

Whoever has proof read the programme needs shooting. Can’t even spell the ladies reigning champions name right. People from wrong countries yet again. At least Ana not Dutch this year.

These are things under the power of the new board, but are yet still wrong. Makes you think don’t it.

It looks like this will also be streamed on the BDO Darts YouTube channel.
Here’s the link to the Friday stream.

So that means you can use the YouTube app on most smart TVs and boxes (if you have Kindle Fire you need to side load the Google Play Store), or can chromecast to your TV from phone or tablet.

As suspected only Sportingbet (and Bwin by extension) have put any odds up. Terry Stubbs price has halved overnight.

Can someone please explain why oh why Parletti is 3rd favourite for this event?

I saw a few photos of the programme knocking around on FB last night and I honestly thought someone had photoshopped it or something. More mistakes than actual accuracy.

Will try and find some if I can but its disappeared off my timeline. From memory though they even spelled Little Richards name wrong. First and last names. Ricgard Ashadown (sic) or something. Thought someone was just on a wind up.

Devalued the event once they seeded players in to last 32 and quarter finals.

With no tv coverage maybe they should go back to putting everyone in Round 1 next year.

After all the BDO is about ‘darts for all’
Of course, it means next to nothing now.
A shadow of its former self.

I Completely agree with this.... :banghead:
