I still find im more interested in watching a BDO tournament for much longer than a PDC one and this was one of the best for a while. Be a pity if it did all collapse.

Totally agree the range of players for one, yes anyone can sit there yanking there plank about averages 100 + & more but some folk want to watch sports people they can relate to, who with a bit of effort think I can be as good as that & I have a go, the fact that it’s all streamed now is irrelevant the comps need publicity, leave the 100k tournaments for the darts is a business brigade, ( if that floats your boat fine) the bdo need to play to there strengths player friendliness & openness ( on the whole) & run the successful big opens

Of course good thing about having the coverage available on YouTube is you can watch it if you missed it.
Surprised to see the youth finals from 2016 has over 1/4 million views.

Never more than 3100 viewing at any one time. Most will be duplicates.

You can’t polish a turd

As for TT’s dig at the board, can’t find a list but is it only Des and Sue from the previous board that are still on the current one?

Yep. A view can be anywhere between 30 seconds and 6, 8 or 9 hours depending on which day. I think you can get an analysis if you are the account holder.
But as David mentioned. I never saw more than 1.5k first 2 days. Third day was 3k max.

Waites has a point but probably not the best way to go about dealing with it. As for ref asking what he should do about it....erm, actually be a ref and make a decision?

You could always make the oche a tad wider and voila all sorted. The only issue would be health and safety if someone had an accident falling over the larger oche but I'm sure everyone has insurance to cover any injuries :IIII:

He could have knocked up a bigger oche, no trouble

What else could he have done? He won the set (didn't do it after losing the first set) and went straight to the ref.

Interesting that Parletti doesn't say much!

The ref could have asked him to stop doing it, not watching it again but I dont recall him saying anything along these lines.
