Re: 2018 Unicorn World Youth Championship
De Zwaan and Dimitri are in the same half of the draw but have to be two of the favourites
Re: 2018 Unicorn World Youth Championship
I do like this group stage format; perhaps not as a group of 3 but it’s certainly underused IMO.
Re: 2018 Unicorn World Youth Championship
Wonder if Geert Nentjes might have a run after great dev tour weekend.
Re: 2018 Unicorn World Youth Championship
Levy Frauenfelder has replaced Jakob Kelly.

Still think Nebrida could cause a few surprises, unfortunately he travels all the way from the Philippines and didn’t play the weekend events.

Re: 2018 Unicorn World Youth Championship
Looking at the last 16, I’ll predict a Ted Evetts v Ryan Meikle final.
Edit- Meikle has just gone out in the last 16
I will revise my precdiction to Rydz v Evetts.

Well done Mgt for picking the two remaining players that were highest in the OOM. :pChrisW wrote:Well called that man.Mgt wrote:Dimitri vs Schindler for me.mik252 wrote:Looking at the last 16, I’ll predict a Ted Evetts v Ryan Meikle final.
On current form I'd favor Martin Schindler. That'd be 2 German PDC World Youth Champions in 4 years.
Re: 2018 Unicorn World Youth Championship
A very risky move actually, looking at the last couple of tournaments.1205 wrote:Well done Mgt for picking the two remaining players that were highest in the OOM. :pChrisW wrote:Well called that man.Mgt wrote:Dimitri vs Schindler for me.mik252 wrote:Looking at the last 16, I’ll predict a Ted Evetts v Ryan Meikle final.

Re: 2018 Unicorn World Youth Championship
What happens to the Ally Pally spot as both players are already there ?
Re: 2018 Unicorn World Youth Championship
I spoke about this in the Ally Pally thread, Mathew Edgar is apparently now in-line to qualify as one of Schindler and van den Bergh will now qualify via the youth worlds instead of the Pro tour order of merit.trotter wrote:What happens to the Ally Pally spot as both players are already there ?

Re: 2018 Unicorn World Youth Championship
Thomas lovely who went out in the last 16 is on fanatics talking about the age of the 2 finalists
I really don’t know why this keeps being brought up, everyone knows it’s up to 24, even football youth teams go up to under 23 now, it’s a pointless argument

If you don't like it, don't play.
