Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
Have to say, following the disappointment of yesterday, thought tonight's matches were top notch.
Clayton was great and just blitzed Ratajski.
Wade was a great disappointment as I genuinely thought he was a real contender to win the tournament, but all credit to Unterbuchner who held his nerve really well and was a deserving winner.
Garry absolutely smashed Harms, who is quite frankly a total whiner who got what he deserved.
Bullyboy vs MVG a slugfest which could have gone either way.
Roll on the quarter finals.

Didn’t realise Garry Murphy was playing tonight...!
Anyway, do you care to elaborate on your post? And do you realise it might be contradictory??

I'm really hoping Unterbuchner goes to Q School. Only 30, and since the 2018 BDO Worlds where he reached the semis, really seems to have kicked on.ssjsa wrote:Interview with Unterbuchner

I think I would even go as far to say, that for me he is playing better than he has ever done before. Not only a viable winner this week
Any luck??

Wasn't Phil Taylor well known for farting on stage to put his opponents off.Mgt wrote:Important update on the farting front!! Arjan van der Giessen asked Gary about it and he confirms the shitty smell but swears on his kids lives it wasn't him.

bdo holds it own - again - pdc lads won opening day - since then its been even - the bdo players settled in - and the bdo players are playing on enemy turf - wade has aways been overated - did nothing at lakey - beat pub players in the pdc to win friverlous tournaments - only won those events cause taylor and gerwin phoned it in and got knocked out - another sky sports hype job -

Wouldn't put it past him, also developed that disgusting personality to ensure nobody would want to be anywhere near him.fling wrote:Wasn't Phil Taylor well known for farting on stage to put his opponents off.Mgt wrote:Important update on the farting front!! Mensur seems to mean business tonight. Don't see Dimitri coming back into this.

These first to 16 long matches can get a bit dull for me unless it's really close...too many of them it becomes obvious early on who's going to win and it's hard to come back ..that's why I love the longer matches over sets as a viewer
Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
They're usually a huge advantage for the better and more experienced players alright. Can get a bit stale when one player gets 4-5 legs in front.trotter wrote:These first to 16 long matches can get a bit dull for me unless it's really close...too many of them it becomes obvious early on who's going to win and it's hard to come back ..that's why I love the longer matches over sets as a viewer

Indeed, always said if a player is 7 or 8 up and needs just 1 in matchplay format then the game is as good as over but the same scenario in set play is different as the player behind only needs to win 3 in every 5 legs to win a set!
