I imagine they will both get a fine and that will be the end of it

Anderson should definitely be up for a fine in fact i wouldnt be surprised if they withhold his prize money over it .

Price should be fine , referee didnt say anything at the time to him so that should be end of that.

Price celebrated like many players before...it wasn't his fault he turned round immediately and Anderson was there at the oche...Price is OTT and a bit unlikeable but you cannot be stood on the oche that quickly and then be in someone's face as they turn round...Anderson was out of order..end of..

Ando will be fined and rightly so, as should Price for shouting in Gary's face.

I have criticised Daryl Gurney on this forum for similar behaviour, so would not be hypocritical and say Gary's conduct was any better.

I still think what Price did was worse he did it against Noppie at GP and Whitlock at GS its aggressive and unsportsmanlike its fine celebrating a leg or match but when your hitting 96 at beginning of a leg and walking to end of the stage and yelling its effectivly cheating in my opinion.

Official statement:

THE PDC can confirm that it has referred Sunday's bwin Grand Slam of Darts Final to the Darts Regulation Authority for investigation.

The DRA is the independent governing body of professional darts and is responsible for all player disciplinary matters relating to PDC events.

The DRA will review match footage and statements from tournament officials. All public feedback received on the match has also been passed to them.

The DRA Chairman will decide as to whether there is a case for either player to answer for a breach or breaches of the DRA Rules.

Neither the PDC nor the DRA will be making any further comment regarding this match whilst it is subject to the DRA Disciplinary process.

Well what will happen is one of them would lift the trophy about 5 minutes after the game, given they can only meet in the final.

Nope

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_Play ... hip_Finals

Price in the 2nd quarter, Anderson in the 3rd quarter - so in different halves.
