It’s all bantz
Of course it's all "bantz" , they're great pals

If anyone thinks Glen isn't a top 8 player in the world of darts (either code) then they need to take up watching a different sport , he's world class simple as

or this player

or Peter Wright, Gary Anderson, Barney etc
i am so sorry for my actions these last ten years, i'm going through a tough time

I think top 16 is pushing it... over a 2 year OOM... if he moves this year, I think he will make an impact but very similar to Bunting. To be honest hope I’m wrong, he plays the game in the right way and seems a nice bloke.

Suppose it's all relative tbf. I mean, has Glen ever been in prison?
Or "banged" a 27 year old model? :DDD:
Very misguided tweet by Mason, which he has now deleted.

Know he meant it as a joke and Katie has taken it as such, but this is indicative of why he will never commentate on Sky.

He is playing very well and is consistently producing a circa 100 average. Is probably averaging higher than any other player in BDO history, but that being said, he is under no real pressure and in the PDC, he will have other players matching him on a leg by leg, match by match basis. Have articulated this before, but any player getting into the Top 32 after their debut season has done phenomenally well.

For me, I really rate Glen and think if he gives up his Housing Manager job and turns full time darts professional, he can be a regular in the latter stages of Majors in the next 18-24 months.

He is not remotely comparable with Jocky.
It's a pointless list.

How is it a pointless list?? It’s quite clear what kind of list it is, dear me...

He's not a really big scorer, so top 8 is a big ask. The loss to Gilding at the Grand Slam of Darts shows what he'll be up against in the PDC.
But, I'm sure there's a bunch of PDC players in the top 16 who'd be happy if he stayed in the BDO.

Not sure how the list is pointless. Takes a certain type of player to be able to win 'major/premier titles'.
So it is a list compiling the players who have achieved that feat most.
That some might have done it in a different era/code is neither here nor there.
Like asking to take out Fangio from the F1 titles list.

So...Who in the PDC top 16 would be happy if Durrant stayed in the BDO?

Well, the tournament started off really bad on friday. Yesterday was a bit better and today was pretty decent with a lot of close games. Womens final was a good game to watch too.

Hasn’t Glen already said he’s not giving up his job.

I don’t actually see this as an issue so long as he gets a team around him that can sort his calendar out and help him to manage the year ahead.

Could be worth him maybe not doing as many euro events in the first year until he gets his feet.

Is the correct answer.

It’s like saying Wade has never won a major because he never beat Taylor or MvG in any of them...
