Have to say I was rooting for Wayne Jones. Interesting match as both had periods of being the better player, but Wayne will rue those missed match darts.

Ryan Joyce hasn't really been talked about at all in the build-up to the Worlds or this evening, he's an impressive player. Reminds me facially and throwing style of Andy Hamilton. Dangerous non-seed.

Trina in the comms box - I think this is the first time I've ever listened to a commentator and thought "they add absolutely NOTHING". At least Vassos is occasionally amusing and Tony Green was senile.

There should have been a women's qualifier for the punditry as well as the tournament!
