I wonder if he will retire from his retirement year if he goes out here.

Ana did disappoint somewhat.
Well, both Mrs devo and I were shouting for her. Just re watched Lisa's 1st set. Massive difference.

If Barney still gets a PL spot after THIS all the other players should boycott it.

Disappointing night for Barney. Bad enough that he is out, but to go out to a player averaging under 87 shows how poorly Raymond played tonight.

Dont really bother with PL if being honest, no way can anyone justify his inclusion now but 99% sure he will be in for his goodbye tour. Agree with poster who said other players should boycott it though.DavidB wrote:The Crusader wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 11:38 pm Premier League your having a laugh

It's an exhibition - would they turn down any well paid exhibition just because Barney's in it?The Crusader wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 11:52 pmDont really bother with PL if being honest, no way can anyone justify his inclusion now but 99% sure he will be in for his goodbye tour. It is hard to justify his inclusion though. It has been for 2 or 3 years.

So disappointing for Barney, who's had an awful 12 months. 1st & deciding sets were mid 70s averages with tons of missed doubles at the end, it just didn't happen for him.
Darius Labanauskas did well and was the better player, particularly the first few sets, but can play much better and is only through because the Dutchman missed so many clutch doubles ultimately.
Raymond cannot, I repeat cannot, be in the 2019 Premier League. Tell him "do something special in 2019 and you'll be in the 2020 PL as a farewell tour. You must earn your spot". There's no way Barney could argue he should be in the event next year, surely?

Yep, but only if you take it seriously. Sad to see Barney drop so far - the contrast with Taylor towards the end of his career is hugeThe Crusader wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 12:00 amOf course they wont I know that.Addicks Fan wrote:It's an exhibition - would they turn down any well paid exhibition just because Barney's in it?The Crusader wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 11:52 pmDont really bother with PL if being honest, no way can anyone justify his inclusion now but 99% sure he will be in for his goodbye tour. Yet again with your 'expert' opinion...You have looked a right twat, Your opinion on darts is just like you...Full of shite!!phil davies wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 12:52 amShe averaged exactly where I expected here to somewhere between 74 too 79. The only person before the tournement I thought could potential be worse than that barring any Frost sequel displays was the Chinese qualifier but fair play he did better than her. I couldn’t account for Mansell and Long to play and absolute shocker or for the New Zealand qualifier to regress to the days when the likes of French and Bolton were qualifying from their. Though to be fair I guess he didn’t even win the qualifier.
Barney was dire tonight and even couldn’t capitalise of Labanauskas blowing the double sin the past set. Vinny v Ilagan was a good game and Jones v Peterson was an intresting watch. Joyce was very good on his doubles and very calm given the situation. He needs to get a diffrent walk on song though WTF was that probably the worst walk on song I have ever heard.
Re: Re: 2019 PDC World Championship- Alexandra Palace, London-13th December 2018- 1st January 2019
You could skip the first set and still see the difference. Ashton dipped but was still good enough to have Dekker's doubles under some pressure. It's the 18 v 19 divide.
I hope they allow 2 in next year again, to support development, but unless they change the qualifiers, you can't have both Ashton and Sherrock in. Sherrock currently seems like the only other player female player with a chance of winning if she plays a good game (excluding freak performances).
