A great day of darts yesterday, some upsets and close games, good presentation and a good crowd in. My only complaint at the moment would be the scores graphic. I was watching on my tablet and black on red is nigh impossible to see.

You did see they fixed that to white on black very quickly after complaints.
Can’t have watched the evening session yet.

my view from the front, overall the standard of dats has been "meh" nothing overly great but watchable & some close matches, yes the graphics was changed part way through, production has been better than anything the beeb or c4 put out imo, few missed darts at doubles (happens anywhere) nat coombs & wolfie have been excellent as have the 3 wise men of the comms box, georgie has been good her job is to capture that after match feeling, getting anyone to say anything when theyve played crap is hard enough, final point slagging off t oshea , is it better to come across with a pint after a match sociable & coherent than off your face while playing in a mark frost styleee, also if you listen to the comms jr mentioned tony o out doing him socially !!

Last one with Silverback, pint in hand does nothing to improve the image of Lakeside.

No worse than the same interviews on Sky with the players in the walk on area.

Does it matter that a player beaten had a pint in his hand after 11pm?? At least the interviews aren’t taking place in the players bar so that’s got to be good for the image...
Well that would depend on whether you are trying to develop your brand as a bona fide sporting one, or as one which is about your most recognisable players as being permanently on the piss.
This is really bizarre - apparently it's better to be totally hammered for an interview straight after a match with no drink in hand than coherent and gracious with a pint in your hand. Just irrelevant to the 'brand' is how I'd put it! It is what it is - a game played in a big bar. There have been so many interviews with players from either code where alcohol has not been present but the player has made a real tit of himself, I really don't think that O'Shea was damaging anything at all.

Correct and very well put.

Whether ssjsa realises that is another matter...

Deta might go out as well today. That's a closer game than most think.

Lumped on McGrath at 4/6 with 365.

And a few quid on 3-0 at 4/1.

Fairly poor so far. That gum chewing Aussie godawful to watch. Think PaddyPower summed it up perfectly.

Didn't think the evenings had any giveaways anyway.
