Stage looks good but its looking more and more like a a few people watching in a working mens club, the camera during that whole preview of the next game just had the bar front and center.
One for the purists this, suppose you’d like them on the balcony relaxing on the chaises lounge in a sky style

If your asking would I prefer a studio over awkwardly standing on the stage while the camera picks up everything in the background then the answer is yes I would.

Ok that’s fine personally like the standing on stage better than the balcony, Think it’s working well so far the 3 of them but each to there own

Can only speak for myself ofcourse but I hope as every year Deta wins it. Paul's odd behaviour doesn't change that.

Related to that, what the hell is Deta doing?

Never say never, she's still in this match after the last 2 legs.

Was Nicholson actually suggesting there that Deta Hedman has been a better player than the likes of Wade, Baxter, etc? Or was his point a bit more nuanced than I picked up?

She is definitely on borrowed time, but she has entered the Romanian Open, so I reckon she'll go round the block one more time at least.

Terrible first round draw for Sherrock though. Hammond is more than decent. Should Sherrock come through that, she really should be confident about going deep though.

Overall, I can't pick from Winstanly, Anastasia or Sherrock. I have splinters.

I think he meant relative to the other players she's competed against in the women's game.

Hedman has the kind of action you expect to fall apart, and it does. So, I disagree with him.
When it goes she strays into low numbers, and worse, misses set-up singles that causes her to loses a lot of darts at doubles.
