his latest gaffe is telling us Rees won the first world title at Jollee's.
He was half right, in that Rees did actually win the first ever BDO World title.
Heart of the midlands wasnt it?
From memory of reading Waddells book.
It's a great read by the way, thoroughly entertaining.
Yes in Nottingham.

I'm not particularly bothered about the quality in general but this is a bit too poor to properly enjoy.

Reynolds reminds my of a young MVG, in looks not the standard.
Thinking of one.

I suddenly remember what a difference a day makes - about 120 kilograms.

I wonder why Reynolds turned down his Tour Card.

"It's not one of those games when you go on about average and stats"
:) That's lucky then.

Just an observation, but surely must be harder for Laura Turner playing with heels.
Absolutely no needle what so ever between them. Known each other for 20years and we’re even discussing playing each other 20years ago at Lakeside in the youth.

We’re we all chatting before the game and also after it. Laura was obviously and visible upset and after eh game Ana went out and chatted with her.

Didn’t seem like any needle at the end though - Silverback said they have played eachother in the youth so built a rivalry there.

Feel sorry for Laura, she’s much much better but clearly was very nervous.

Because he can’t fit his 30 strong crowd into leisure centres

Thanks for clearing that up, that’s what I thought but ssjsa seemed to think otherwise ;-)

Seems some of my post went awry when you replied it merged into yours!

phil davies wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 1:18 am Well tonight was a lot better than the awful afternoon session.

Unterbuchner v Thompson and Williams v Janssen were both good watches and Ana played well for a ladies game though TBF had zero competition from her opponent. If she keeps to that level she should make the final from the top half.

The Day v Reynolds match was absolutely awful but glad Dean won as he is Welsh
Fixed for probable accuracy.

76.59 average and winning a game at Lakeside over 4 sets. Day must have been utter garbage on doubles or something?

That probably is spot on!
He would get no where near the TV based on that form.
